but what will be left when the mines are laying ruined upon the mountain
will the very last breath before your father’s death be that he was wrong and should be forgotten
only thing we ever wanted
was honest love and to build a home for it

its teeth are sharp and full of resentment
we all get spit into the desert sometimes
